Georgia's soccer game.

today we went to Georgia's soccer game in Highland. she did soo good. at first it she did not even want to be there...but then as we cheered her on she got a little more competitive.

she scored 3 goals! It was so cute to watch her play... she gets a little shy (especially when she makes a goal!).

Project 365 layouts

I HAVE got to start on my project 365. I am a procrastinator. Well with that being said... here is the first layout I created using Sherelle's free template I downloaded off her blog tonight. It's not the cutest layout but I did it on a whim... just to see if I understood the tutorial. Well, I think I will be putting together some more layouts soon because this was actually quite easier than expected (I'm glad). I want to start from the first of the year. We will see how that goes!

 These photos were taken when I babysat Jeremy and Amy's kids for an entire week last month... oh that was FUN! Seriously, it was. I loved every minute of it. Those kids love me... especially Kara. What a sweetheart!

scrapbook expo

Nancy and I went to the scrapbook expo in Sandy. She took her girls for a "girls nite" out. They had fun activities for girls ages 8-18. they danced, got their nails done, and even got glitter tattoos.

Nancy and i walked the building looking at every booth they had. we bought a few things... we met up with Lana Mackey and her sisters and friends. They were all there scrappin. Emry is soo big. She is almost 9. wow! time flies! We chatted while we rested in between booths... all that walking really made my feet hurt.

it sure seemed way slow this year compared to last. they didn't have a few booths i was looking forward to, like, crate paper, scenic route, a few others i can't think of right now. I was really hoping to find new Heidi Swapp stuff... ya, right!

not too impressed this year for sure. it was fun either way. we stayed till midnight. i hope it gets better next year!

and i especially love to cook in my cute dishes! sorry Alicia... i was gonna give you this for your birthday, but i just had to use it. it has been tempting me for far too long...every dam time i open the cabinet, it just says "use me please"! lol.

things I LOVE minibook...

i finally finished this mini book i scraplifted from Alicia. I started it almost a month ago... every time i would try to work on it, the phone rang or an email came thru. grrr! here are some photos....

i mostly used old papers i had in my stash... with the exception of the echo park "truly yours" pattern papers i bought and the sticker sheet.

i don't know what it is, i love to make mini books. i can't remember the last time i scrap a page. all my recent projects have been mini books.

 i guess i'm not quite done... i still want to sew on a few pages and the front cover.

OUTDOOR AND GUN SHOW @ EXPO

we went to the expo with Jeremy, Dusting and the 4 oldest kids. It was a mad house there... people everywhere! isles were packed, it was hard to see the booths, but we still had fun. We lost Jesse for a bit (that was scary).... I was starting to panic. Then we found him at the front desk... some nice girls could see he was last by the way he was looking around and took him over to the front entry area. Jesse was being shy with them because they were cute young girls. haha!

the kids got a little bored... mostly because they could not wander like they would of liked to. We had something to eat while we were there, then headed home to enjoy the rest of the day.

impromptu date night with my main squeeze...

had a great date last night with Daniel. We went to check out a new (new to us) restaurant in Saratoga... Wing Nutz. It is now our new favorite place for pool and the best chicken nachos. mmm...I'm making myself hungry thinking about it! oh and they have good salsa.

He had so much fun last night, we totally lost track of time... we got home around 12:30am...eek! Daniel had to work the next morning ( I felt bad we stayed out so late)... but it was totally worth it. It's been a while since we hung out like this.

 i love to sit outside and soakup the rays on days like today! i spent a few hours my little sitting bench outside reading a good book while Daniel worked on his bike and truck ...

and dustin... thinking he's hot stuff, washed his car with no shirt on. Lol.

it was soo nice today...makes me excited for summer!

the door bell rang today and on the front step i found a box full of goodies...

just when i thought the day couldn't get any worse. this brightened my day for sure!

happy birthday old man...

this weekend was fun hanging out with Kevin and Lorinda! We went to Cabela's on Saturday (to look at guns and buy ammo... Daniel's into guns lately).

Kevin turned 54 this weekend! He says he looks like Nick Nolte now, not Kenny Rogers. lol.

Lorinda and I had to make a run to Rod Works before they closed...

I love their displays... always so cute and different. Then on Sunday before Lorinda headed home we ate breakfast at IHop... yummm! We love Lorinda, she's so fun to hang out with. We wished she lived closer so we coud hang out more often.
