Little rag doll

Jesse loves to play with Kara...I just don't know how much Kara likes it sometimes. Tonight he put her in the laundry basket and was pushing her around in it. Poor girl, she just layed there. I'm not sure if she did it in fear or if she really was enjoying it. Lol. She looked so cute in there, it was hard for me not to take photos. All the kids love Kara and are always giving her hugs and kisses... it's cute. It's nice to see them loving towards each other and not fighting. Something tells me they are being raised well.

I'm ready for school

Georgia and Jesse both go to the same school every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It was kinda nice to have a little break on those days. Me and Kara just hanging out until she had to be down for nap time. It's just enough time to clean up the house, check my computer work and get stuff ready for after school projects. I did projects with them for about an hour everyday before the older two kids came home from school.  Then I had to figure out what to make for dinner. Jeremy was good to help... besides he knows what his kids will eat better than I would.  

 Georgia is so good, she likes to dress herself and gets ready fast. I can tell she loves to go to school. She is a little smarty pants too! I can't believe how much she know how to spell.

I had to do Georgia's hair just the way she likes it (she is very picky when it comes to her hair). I must admit I had a hard time because her hair is so short and she wanted me to braid it. It looked good enough I'd say, she liked it! That's all that matters.. right?!

 I loved these cute jeans on Jesse, he hated them though, cuz he had to wear a "stupid belt" he says! haha.

I had to drive the kids to school this day because Jeremy was out doing errands. I felt like a soccer mom in Amy's van. lol.

Homework time with Curtis

Curtis is a really smart kid, especially in math. He gets his math homework done right after school even before I have to tell him.... but reading assignments is a whole other thing. Poor kid, he struggles a bit. I found that I just have to be patient with him and he does a little better. We must have spent a good 2 hours the other night going over his missed reading assignments. He's been sick so he missed school for a couple of days or so. Ooh he just hates it when I mention reading time... breaks my heart (cuz he cries when he doesn't get the word right, and he gets so frustrated), but he needs to practice more. I am sure he will be do better as he gets older.

Curtis is a really good kid, you just have to be patient and more attentive with him. He has a really creative imagination... always looking to see what he can build or make out of the weirdest things. I love it. I can totally see him being an architect or an inventor of something great when he grows up.

I'll tell you what! what do you moms do with these kids to keep them entertained all day? here it is day 1 of my week long babysitting. We played in Kara's room for a while this morning before school, when I remembered I brought my camera. I wanted to take pictures of the kids so I could give to Amy when she got back from her trip. This was also a good time for me to take photos for me to scrap with since I haven't been doing much of that lately.

Jeremy asked me to help babysit their kids (5 of them)... while Amy goes down to Arizona to see her brother. She will be gone for a whole week (she's taking Myla with her). Of course I have to do it. This should be fun! We'll see what next week brings... lots of good memories I'm sure!

this is the mini book i started for this years valentine's day holiday... but once again, i have no photos to put in it! damn! i'm not quite finished with it yet... i just need to find some photos and will post new pictures. the inside will be cute, i still have to add  a lot of tabs and stuff. in the meantime enjoy!

don't like change much.

I hate the fact that there is another new house being built across the street from us... ugh! i've always liked the fact that we didn't have any houses directly across the street from us...

and then last year this monster was built, right in front of our house! 

and now this! more neighbors I don't talk to... lol.

We liked the privacy we had here on our lil block, now we have 2 more houses... I don't think we will have anymore because the lots are big (1/2 acre, I think), so that's a good thing.

Hopefully they are cool neighbors, who mind their own and don't bother us much!

hehe... I know, we're hermits, or crappy neighbors... whatever YOU want to call it. ;-)

Crazy... Gio and I were at the mall when we got a text saying "Whitney Houston dead at 48"... I thought, what?! for reals? even though my first though was that she overdosed. Such talent wasted over stupid drugs.

 Even though I wasn't a big fan of her music I think it's so sad to see  talented people waste their life away after fame and money... Kurt Cobain, Amy Winehouse, Ryan Dunn, Heath Ledger, Whitney HOuston, the list goes on.....
