Lazy days...

today was a sweat pants, hoodie, and hat type of day! It was raining for most of the day so we stayed home and watched t.v for the most part. We went to Cabela's for a while... Dustin hadn't been there in a while.

 I love this safari theme... the zebra is amazing!

There's that dam freaky bear... I would die if I saw a real one!
 I went out later that evening to pick up the ZUmba videos I bought off KSL.... we'll see how this one goes!

I have been wanting a new car for a while now... and today while I was at Jamba Juice (at freakin 9am), I saw this beauty of an Audi! Oh, I want one soo bad! Maybe soon.

Girls ONLY!!

I love sure enjoy hanging out at Amy's house, with this little booger especially! She is soo stinkin cute and lovable. I spent a few hours hanging out with Amy and her girls (Alana, Georgia and Kara). Jeremy took both of the boys (Curtis and Jesse) to Spring City for a few days. It gave Amy a nice little break before the new baby arrives. She is crazy... sometimes I can't believe she has been married the same time as me, and she has 5 kids, with one on the way! She is super woman I tell ya!

Sportsman's Warehouse... it's a mans WORLD!

Anytime I go into Sportsman's or any other outdoor place like this I am reminded of why I am scared to go camping in places other than your KOA Campground, lol. Can you imagine getting attacked by one of these animals...

I mean, I know people say they won't attack you but seriously, it's still scary to me! And don't even get me started on bears! oh man... I would pass out if I saw one for real...

and while Daniel is shopping for work boots, I am walking around gawking at the stuffed animals. I can't help but to take pics every time I am here... they are amazing animals but they still scare me!

Semi- Annual Sale....

OMG... I cannot tell you how much I love the semi-annual sale at Victoria's Secret! You have to be there first thing the day of sale to get the best selection. I always stock up on perfumes, lotions, undies and items I can take to my fam in Mexico.

I love, love their bras so I have to stock up for myself too! I went a little crazy this year because I bought stuff online the first day of the sale as well as in the store... hehe!

NEW YEAR! NEW GOALS!!!!

THis year my goal is to be more organized... and one of the first places I started was in the kitchen. I am sick of looking in there and seeing this all messy. I always buy the same things because I forget we already have it. It is a small pantry but if its organized, and labeled, I think we can make it work.

Before: Messy, everything out of place, and overcrowded.

After: Cleaner, organized and all labeled. Oh, it makes me happy!!!

After X-mas sales...

I love to shop the after Holiday sales... I picked up this nice 7ft x-mas tree this year @ Kmart. I can't wait to use it next year... so much I had to set it up right when I got home!! I have been living in the stone age, because this sucker assembles in just 3 easy steps! Seriously, why the hell have I waited so long to buy a new tree?! Amy couldn't believe I still used an old tree that I have to attach each individual branch, and string light on myself... lol. No wonder it takes me a freakin week to decorate! LOL.

Gio is down here for a few days before she goes to Boise for X-mas. We went shopping all day and still found nothing! why is it soo hard to shop for others? Seriously, all we ended up buying is stuff for ourselves!!

I wish I would have bough this cute Hello Kitty beanie at Target (little girls section)! dam it... I always do this!! wait to buy it and then when I go back to get it they're ALL gone... nooooo!!!

hair cut and bangs

I got a hair cut today, and my hair highlighted. I haven't had short bangs for a while so figured, what the hell!

 I do like my hair better with highlights.... it's just a pain in my arse to maintain, cuz my hair grows so fast!

Daniel approved, so I guess we are good. ;-)

Neighbor Gifts...

well not for MY neighbors! lol. I helped Amy put together these cute lil buckets with caramel popcorn and candy. SHe made the popcorn and it was seriously the best ever! She used her grandmas recipe, which she WILL BE sharing with me... wink! ;-)

 I made these tags using the HO3 digitals (that I bought 3yrs ago and still haven't used until now!).

Today was not a very productive day... I got on PInterest!! lol. this thing is seriously addicting.

Clean your room!

For some reason I felt inspired to scrap today, so I started to clean up my room.  I love to scrap in a clean space, so I haven't been doing much lately because my room has been a disaster. These photos show it half way thru... still have a lot more to do.

 This bookcase is organized finally, except for the top shelf. I want to hang up some of the frames I have stacked on top there, and organize my mini books in a better place. I was also thinking of maybe putting up a shelf instead...hmmm, don't know yet. I will have to think about it.

 This is my sweet project table I got off KSL for $75. It is beautiful and heavy duty. I love that it's tall and I can scrap standing... sometimes I like that better than sitting. For some reason my ideas flow better when I'm standing. LOL. I know I'm crazy!!

This is my Pottery Barn desk (also off KSL) I got at a steal ($150)!!! I kept eyeing this sucker, but it was so far up North, I just knew I couldn't it. But I guess it was meant to be because Daniel was on his way back from WY and when I saw that it hadn't sold I hurried and called on it. Daniel was able to pick it  up for me. This was my x-mas present to say the least, Daniel hates to do favor for me like this.... he's a stinker! I am soo happy he got it for me. It is a heavy, heavy beast. I had to disassemble it in the living room because I could even drag it into the scrap room by myself. (Daniel was gone to a movie w/ his brothers) and I couldn't wait till he got home.

I have piles of stuff on all the table because I am trying to organize as I clean... MAN, what a project!! I still need to organize the crap on the floor too! jeez.

But I keep getting distracted by the cool things I find! ha ha!! Maybe tomorrow I will finish it all up and get to scrappin!

Salt Lake Temple

Tonight we went to see Brittany sing a Christmas program with her choir class in Salt Lake. She did an awesome job! Afterwards we all went and walked around the temple and went through the visitors center and looked at all the pretty lit up trees outside. It was sooo cold, we were all bundled up as best as possible. Jeremy's family came with us too... I should say we went with Jeremy's family (they drove).

My favorite was the Nativity scene, it was incredibly beautiful, with the temple in the background... oh so pretty! Daniel and I are definitely coming back without the kiddos... it is too chaotic with soo many kids. Having to keep track of them all to make sure they don't get lost, oh, I can't handle it! lol.

You are such a boy...

Daniel is like a little boy, he comes in the house to show me what he found outside. He leans over to kiss me and I look over his shoulder to find a huge praying mantis on the back of his neck... euwww gross! He knows how squirmish I am about bugs and insects (specially spiders) I freaked out and told him to get out of the house before it gets lost and accidently step on it or something. Things like that creep me out. yuck!

Mexican Dinner Night

mmmm.... I made tostadas for dinner tonight. Oh so yummy!!

(i had a yummy picture of the dinner I made, but now i can't find it! dam it!)



I love to cook, even though I don't do it often. I love love love it. There is something about taking a simple recipe and making it your own. We had yummy tostadas with homemade refried black beans and even had cotija cheese on them. Daniel loves mexican food! For dessert we have delicious flan. I cannot wait to go to Mexico this Fall, where we will be having some real authentic food!

July 30th 2011... time to try to blog again!

Well here it is now 2yrs later and I still haven't posted on my blog for 2009... pathetic!! I guess I will try to start now.

Life is crazy, we are always working and when we aren't the last thing I want to do is be on the computer. I shall try to post weekly at least, we'll see how that goes. ;P
